Choose your neighborhood

Val Thorens is a human-sized resort, which means you can do everything on foot. But there are also free shuttles that run in the resort to connect the different districts of Val Thorens.

Not sure which districts to choose? Here is some information to help you with your booking.

The resort is divided into 6 districts:

*Grande Rue area: Right in the center of the resort, close to shops and restaurants, lively neighborhood in the evening.

*Soleil area: At the bottom of the resort, ideal for families, close to children's gardens, ski lessons, and daycare.

*Slalom area: Very quiet neighborhood, close to the ski slopes.

*Lombarde area: Neighborhood close to the center of the resort, near the ski slopes.

*Balcons area: At the top of the resort, a residential and quiet neighborhood. For beginners in skiing, you will need to take the shuttle to access the green slopes.

*Plein Sud area: At the top of the resort, a quiet neighborhood.
