Whether you're into skiing, snowboarding, sledding, or any other sliding sport, join us from 20 to 23 November 2026 to celebrate the opening of the new ski season!
Programme:
Once again this year, Val Thorens welcomes the biggest brands, giving you the opportunity to test the latest innovations in alpine skiing, snowboarding, telemark, ski touring, freeride, freestyle, snowscoot, and many other exciting new snow sports and equipment (from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Place Caron). Activity zones hosted by industry professionals will also be available throughout the event.
Equipment testing is reserved for holders of a valid ski pass and a Test Card (issued free of charge upon presentation of your ski pass).

Useful information
- Package bookings close on Monday, 16 November 2026 at 12:00 p.m.
- Adding a ski pass after booking a package (until 16 November 2026 at 12:00 p.m.) will be charged €90 per person.
- A full refund will be issued for any unused ski pass upon presentation of a medical certificate confirming that you are unable to ski. Without supporting documentation, a €20 administration fee per ski pass will be retained.
Prices
- 3 nights' accommodation in an apartment: 21, 22 & 23 November 2026
- 2 or 3-day Val Thorens ski pass: 21, 22 & 23 November 2026*
- Optional: 2-hour ski lesson on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. (€22 supplement per person)
- Bed linen included (beds are not made upon arrival). Towels are included only in 4* and 5* residences.

*Discounted ski pass rates are only available when booked as part of the package. Any ski pass added later (up to the maximum occupancy of the accommodation) will be charged €90 per pass. A full refund will be issued for any unused ski pass upon presentation of a medical certificate confirming that you are unable to ski. - Cancellation insurance: We recommend adding it when you make your reservation.
- Carré Neige insurance (ski slope rescue cover): You can add it to your booking for €3.50 per person, per day.
- End-of-stay cleaning: Available as an optional extra.
- Towels: Not included in 3* apartments.
- Parking: Remember to add a parking space to your booking when making your reservation to benefit from the special weekend rate. Please note that parking in the resort's car parks is mandatory.
